Jared Howard
Executive Director
Jared grew up in Prospect, Ohio, and earned a B.A. in History from The Ohio State University and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He became director of Main Street Calumet in 2025, bringing years of experience working alongside local organizations and community initiatives. Jared is passionate about celebrating the Keweenaw’s unique character and helping to build a vibrant, welcoming place for residents and visitors alike. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, playing guitar, and cheering on his kids in their many activities—from hockey and figure skating to dance and baseball.​

Jessica Flagler-Gelety
Administrative Assistant, Social Media Manager
Jessica was born in Wyoming and has moved many times; living in Montana, Las Vegas, Arizona, and Michigan. She moved to the Keweenaw after 8 years of Lansing life and has hopefully finally found her life-long home in Calumet. She joined the Main Street Calumet team in January 2025. Jessica enjoys karaoke, reading, and playing board games with her friends and family.
