11AM – 4PM
Pumpkin Carving at Ramona's Bakery &
Bring your own pumpkin or pick out one of the 50+ provided by Incredible Bank and Snyder Drug! Tools provided. Pumpkins will be lit and set out in the 5th Street Pocket Park (next to Bucko's Party Store) after carving for a excellent Jack-o-lantern display! Kids are welcome to bring their pumpkin home after the event.
Touch-a-Fire-Truck at Laurium Fire Department
Visit the Laurium Fire Hall to meet real fire fighters and check out all their equipment including their fire trucks! The event is free and open to the public.
4PM – 6PM
Carnival Games & "Haunted Mansion" Calumet Theatre!
Families will be invited onto the stage for games and prizes from 4-6pm and then stay for a movie (Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy)! Carnival tickets are $1 and movie admission is $1/person, concessions will be available for purchase.
Kids are invited to trick-or-treat at participating downtown businesses (look for the “Trunk-or-Treat HERE” signs in windows), and at vehicles located in the 100 and 200 blocks of 5th Street. If you would like to hand out candy at your business located in the downtown district we are happy to provide you with a poster for your door. Please fill out the brief form HERE if you would like a "Trunk-or-Treat Here" poster for your business or organization.
The 100 and 200 blocks of 5th Street will be closed to traffic starting at 2pm. We ask those handing out candy to please arrive with enough time to be fully decorated by 3pm.
RSVP is appreciated but not required for those interested in decorating a vehicle and/or handing out candy. You do NOT have to decorate a vehicle to distribute candy! We use this information to gauge interest only. RSVP by following the link below.
CLK Drama Club Haunted House
Stop by the George Gipp Ice Arena Friday, October 28th, 5-9pm, or Saturday, October 29th, 1-3pm & 5-9pm to check out the a great haunted house produced by the CLK Drama Club! Admission is $5/person, no age restrictions.
