Start a business or launch your product!
If you are looking to start a business or launch your product idea, then this first of three sessions are right for you! Learn the process that MTEC SmartZone uses to help successfully launch both regular and technology businesses, and what Invent@NMU can do for you with your new product idea. You will then break into one of two groups where you gain understanding and begin to focus on first next steps. A follow-up session will expand your capabilities and understanding.

Description: Building off of the last session, Product Idea teams will share what they’ve done between sessions, propose next steps, and provide continued support between teams and Innovate Marquette

Starting your Business!
Description: Building off of the original session, Starting a Business teams will share what they’ve done between sessions, propose next steps, and provide continued support between teams and MTEC SmartZone.

Understanding SEO and Social Media Calendar DevelopmentLynn Makela of 101 Quincy Coworking brought her expertise to our May, 2019 session to teach the group what SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing) is and how to make it work for your business. Kevin Gruver and Erin Lyle demonstrated how the Keweenaw Coffee Works team make use of Google Calendar to layout social media posts on a monthly basis.
