August 18th
7:30 pm Travis LaDoyt's "Tribute to Elvis" - Calumet Theater
August 19th (all Saturday events are in Agassiz Park unless otherwise noted)
8 am - 11 am Pannukakku & Norwegian Waffle Breakfast
10 am 7th Annual Heritage Days Horseshoe Tournament
10 am 1st Annual Great Deer Chase Mountain Bike Race
(starts at Calumet Colosseum, proceeds down 4th Street
and Elm Street to Swedetown Bike trails,
finishes at 6th & Oak Streets)
11 am - 6 pm Music, Food, Crafters, Traditional Artists, and Artists at Agassiz Park
(crafters: register by calling 337-MAIN)
Music by "Crawfish Moiakka" (11:00-2:00) & the "Polka Kings" (2:00-6:00)
Calumet Elks BEER GARDEN
Noon - 1 pm Kid's Games Afternoon Horse Drawn Tours (times to be announced)
Noon Award Presentations by Village of Calumet Planning Commission
Historic District Commission & Keweenaw Heritage Center
2 pm Kid's Great Deer Chase
(starts in Agassiz Park & finishes at 6th & Oak Streets)
3 pm Kivajat Children's Finnish American Folk Dance Group
3:30 - 4:30 pm Kid's Games
4 pm Winners of Great Deer Chase & Horseshoe Tournament announced
Music / Dancing / Refreshments in the park until 6:00 p.m.
7:30 pm DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY "TAMBURITZANS" - Calumet Theatre
